
The Ultimate Bacon Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 8 Rashers of Smoked or Unsmoked Case and Son’s Wiltshire Cured Back Bacon
- 4 Thick Slices of Fresh Cut Bread (the fresher the better)
- Tomato Ketchup or Brown Sauce (your preference)
Method:
- Case and Son’s Rashers create the perfect crispy edge as less water is released when frying ensuring a better taste.
- Place a large frying pan over a medium heat, add a trickle of olive oil.
- Lay the bacon in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. When the bacon is as crispy as you prefer, remove and divide between 2 slices of bread.
- Spread either sauce on the remaining 2 slices of bread and place sauce down in the pan. Leave for about minute whilst the juices from the pan are absorbed by the bread.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing the warm slices on top of your rashers.
